The Essential Quality of Space | weekend - in Wajid and on Zoom

Through the process of therapy and on the path of awareness, we inevitably come to a pass where our idealizations shatter, our false personality structures disintegrate along with our roles and pseudo- identities. In this retreat, we come in touch with the quality of Space, the spaciousness that allows us to disengage from the roles, and false identity we took on as part of being conditioned during our childhood, from our parents and society. We learn how to disengage from the external objects that are not in fact directly related to who we truly are. The quality of Space is a precursor; it opens the door for us to come in touch with our true nature, which is the Absolute.

As we are identified with the false identity given to us, when we encounter difficulty in our daily life we often disintegrate, we fall into a void. This can be a devastating and unbearable state. We feel lost, empty, with no sense of self and no sense of self-value.

As we learn to tolerate this emptiness, the intolerable void gradually becomes gentle nothingness. What was once devastating and unbearable becomes calm and peaceful. Our Essential qualities appear, as we grow more comfortable with the simple nature of things. We become spacious, and from this place, we can sense and become attentive to the way the flow of Life, the Absolute, is streaming into us and fills up our whole system, rejuvenating us. Our connection to our Soul is restored, because in this freshness and openness we start sensing who we truly are. We are the Soul. The Essential quality of Space is the doorway to our Soul.
